Valpantena Winery

Cantina Valpantena confirms its commitment to the territory and the enhancement of the landscape, to offer its consumers products of superior and sustainable quality. The national project VIVA (Evaluation of the Impact of Viticulture on the Environment) was launched in 2011 to improve the sustainability of the entire supply chain through the analysis of the four indicators (Air, Water, Vineyard and Territory).

Today it represents one of the most valid systems for assessing and certifying sustainability of wine produced by companies in the wine sector. In particular, it provides calculation and evaluation tools, technical support for data calculation using tools made available by the MATTM (Ministry of Environment and Land and Sea Protection). The inclusion of the QR code on the label allows customers and end consumers to have an innovative and transparent tool to verify the information and environmental performance of the company and the product, not limited only to the campaign phase, but also including vinification, bottling and disposal of the consumed product.

With BROLO DEI GIUSTI, Cantina Valpantena has reached the important milestone of the Sustainability Certification of the 1st AMARONE DELLA VALPOLICELLA 2011 and of the 1st VALPOLICELLA SUPERIORE 2013
